A Simple Reset : Small group weekend trips out of San Francisco

The Why

In this age, everything is digital.

We can reach anyone in seconds. Everything is fast, optimized, and convenient, but somewhere in that we have lost what real connection feels like. It has become harder to be fully present with the people around us.

These weekends are about creating space again. You leave the city, put your phone away, and spend a few days doing simple things well. Cooking together, walking, and having real conversations without constant interruption.

It’s about returning to something more basic and more real.

How it works

  • The Format

We leave Friday afternoon and return Sunday. No big agenda, just good people, time outside, and shared meals. Once we arrive, phones go away.

  • The Group

Small by design, usually 4 to 8 people. Big enough to meet new people, small enough to feel personal.

  • The + 1

Everyone brings one person. Someone you trust or think would add to the group. It keeps things comfortable while introducing new people without feeling random.

  • The Contribution

This isn’t a retreat, it’s a shared experience. Everyone contributes to cooking, cleanup, and the overall flow. We carry what we need and share what we have.

Based in San Francisco. Built around getting back to something simpler.

2 nights. 3 days. No phones.
